The CCARC Foundation, Inc. was established in 2012 to reaffirm its commitment to providing advocacy and services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across their lifespan. This commitment embraces and strengthens the organization’s focus to:
- Continue its advocacy for the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their best possible health and wellness and their safety.
- Continue its advocacy for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
- Advocate for employment for people with disabilities who have a desire and choose to work.
- Support families who care for loved ones with disabilities no matter their age.
- Commit to fiscal responsibility to ensure The Arc of Clarke County remains a viable resource for individuals with disabilities for years to come.
- Commit to involvement in and service to our Clarke County community.
