Bishop State Truck Driving School
Bishop State’s Truck Driving School is a comprehensive program that prepares individuals for a successful career in the trucking industry. The program combines classroom learning, hands-on training, and certification to give students the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful truck drivers.
Students learn the rules and regulations of the road, as well as essential skills such as backing up, turning, and maneuvering a commercial vehicle.
Additionally, students are trained on how to perform pre-trip inspections, properly use electronic logging devices, and secure cargo for transport.

Bishop State Community College has opened a new CDL training Facility in Jackson, Alabama.
Bishop State’s Commercial Vehicle Driving Course is an eight-week program designed to help develop the skills necessary to obtain a CDL license. Many companies need qualified drivers now. Jobs in this industry pay high wages.
